Christmas Stamps 2016 Unveiled

christmas stamps 2016 unveiledA set of six Christmas stamps featuring traditional festive images has been released by the Royal Mail for 2016.

The stamps were crafted by paper artist, Helen Musselwhite, using paper cut-outs which were then photographed.

The artist said: “Illustrating the stamps has been one of the most important and favourite jobs of my career to date.

The stamps feature a snowman, lantern, Christmas tree, stocking, Christmas pudding and robin. and range from 1st class to £2.25.

The Royal Mail first issued Christmas stamps in 1966 as part of a competition on Blue Peter.
