A set of six Christmas stamps featuring traditional festive images has been released by the Royal Mail for 2016.
The stamps were crafted by paper artist, Helen Musselwhite, using paper cut-outs which were then photographed.
The artist said: “Illustrating the stamps has been one of the most important and favourite jobs of my career to date.
The stamps feature a snowman, lantern, Christmas tree, stocking, Christmas pudding and robin. and range from 1st class to £2.25.
The Royal Mail first issued Christmas stamps in 1966 as part of a competition on Blue Peter.
