Marks and Spencer have launched their Christmas 2017 advert this morning, Tuesday 7th November.
The advert features Paddington Bear as the unlikely hero to save Christmas this year as he unwittingly thwarts a hapless burglar in a blockbuster festive ad.
As the battle of the Christmas commercials hots up, Marks & Spencer has stolen a march on rivals by signing up the cuddly star of acclaimed sequel Paddington 2 for its feel-good mini-movie.
And in its most aggressive seasonal campaign yet, the high street chain is launching 90 spin-off Paddington products from exclusive marmalade and chocolate to cuddly toys and duffle coats as well as a blitz on social media sites.
Meanwhile, a series of clips carrying the has Twitter in meltdown as many believe it to be the teaser to this years John Lewis campaign.
The clips are tweeted from the Twitter account @Underthebed2017 and feature a pair of animal like eyes in darkness.
