Hampshire Businesses Warned To Be Aware Of Fake £50 NotesBusinesses in the Test Valley area are being warned to be on the look-out for counterfeit currency.

Hampshire police have recently received reports of two males attempting to buy low value goods with suspected fake £50 notes at several business locations in the Andover area.

Police say: 'If you currently work in a business that accepts cash payments please make sure to check the legitimacy of any large nomination notes you receive.'.

If you have any information or think you may have been offered an fake note, please report it to police on 101.
